Job Description

Position Summary: The Marketing Communications Manager will report directly into the VP, marketing. They play a key role in developing executing the companys downstream marketing efforts. This includes an active role in supporting the development of new business and a rapidly expanding sales team. Responsibilities include creation and delivery of breakthrough marketing initiatives that measurably increase sales effectiveness and drive increased revenue into new and existing accounts. This will be accomplished by competitive positioning, creation of clinical and economic value propositions along with key opinion leader programs and customer development. Under the direction of the VP of Marketing and in close partnership with the sales team, will support the key messages through creation of sales tools and sales training including PowerPoint presentations, customer-facing collateral and online content. The Marketing Manager will also leverage other channels to help drive demand and build brand awareness within the medical community and beyond including events/tradeshows. They will also work in unison with the Digital Marketing Manager on social medical and digital marketing initiatives. Duties Responsibilities:

• Create marketing program strategies, tactics and campaigns to drive sales growth

• Ensure cross-departmental alignment and line of sight to impact

• Develop and refine key messaging and objection handling

• Create sales presentations and sales tools

• Collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs)

• Partner with Training and Education (if that exists) to ensure high level of sales force effectiveness

• Support Digital marketing Manager with web, social media and PR strategies to build the brand

• Optimize event and trade show ROI

• Work collaboratively/cross-functionally with product marketing, sales leadership, and clinical affairs teams

• Travel with field sales to meet customers and prospects Qualifications:

• BA/BS in marketing or related business discipline

• Minimum of 5yrs experience in a similar downstream marketing position

• Preference for healthcare experience

• Ability to work cross-functionally with strong communication skills to pull together various stakeholders across the organization

• Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills

• A positive and winning attitude

• Strong analytical skills to ensure KPI tracking

• Strong familiarity with CRMs including Google Sheets and Salesforce.com

• Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task

• Professional demeanor with strong ethical standards and comfort level in a changing environment

• Available to travel as needed
