Job Description

Candidate will be responsible for processes related to the development Automotive Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS). Roles include:

Capture ADAS development workflows using the department tools for workflow and process management.

  • Identify process dependencies for related control systems and propose methods to optimize.

  • Support Project Management activities including: task planning, resource planning, scheduling, status tracking, and project reporting.

  • Identify and document change points for relevant vehicle control systems and software.

  • Create instruction materials and support training of department members on new processes and tools as implemented for efficiency improvements.

  • Implement process related tools such as “5S” and “lean” to improve department efficiency.

  • Support the implementation of visual management tools.

Some domestic and international travel may be required to visit Honda and Supplier engineering offices


  • BS in Mechanical Engineering and/or Industrial and Systems Engineering.
  • MS in Mechanical Engineering and/or Industrial and Systems Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Must have strong knowledge of automotive and control systems development processes.
  • Must have working experience with IBM Jazz RTC systems and process optimization methodology.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required to operate vehicles on proving grounds.
  • PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and other technical software)
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with the willingness to pro-actively seek out information from others and convert concepts into specific requirements.
