About the Opportunity:
You will be responsible for optimizing the inventory levels to support the Honda Aircraft world-wide customer base, Honda Aircraft dealer network, and the Greensboro Service Center operations. You will coordinate material movement from Suppliers and other internal functional areas (such as Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and Production Logistics) into Customer Service inventory to ensure all HondaJet’s in the field are fully operational.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inventory and supplier analysis and report out data in both standup meetings and presentations.
  • Support collaboration efforts with cross functional teams (Technical Support, Supply Chain Management, Quality, and Engineering) to address and resolve inventory challenges. 
  • Forecast and plan all material needs; particularly for Service Bulletin/Fleet Campaign preparation and Engineering Changes. Implement strategies for response to urgent material requests.
  • Investigate root cause and provide corrective actions to address backorders or inventory inaccuracies. 
  • Create Quote Requests and Purchase Requests for inventory fulfillment.
  • Verify and determine replacement strategy for obsolete parts and materials.
Who You Are: 
You have a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or related field and 3 years of experience across planning, inventory control, production control, and/or procurement in aviation, aerospace or a related field. You are highly skilled at analyzing and compiling data within Excel. You have used SAP or another ERP system. You are open to participating in an on call schedule which may require you to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays to meet customer demands.
