This represents potential Die Maintenance openings in various manufacturing departments at our Marysville Auto Plant, East Liberty Auto Plant and Honda Engineering North America facility in Marysville, Ohio.

Position Core Role:

Die Service Technician supporting equipment / die downtime and developing equipment / die improvement projects.

Essential Function and Responsibilities:

Lineside emergency repair.

Die Checks.

Preventative Maintenance duties.

Line troubleshooting.

Reporting of problems/repairs.

Weekend die repairs/preventative maintenance.

Process and follow work orders.

Maintain stamping dies.

Maintain a clear and organized work area.

Complete department training requirements.

Support of production problem solving.

Parts control (reporting use and need).

Daily Cleanup/Organize/Pickup (COP).

Daily Tasks:

Perform daily equipment safety checks.

Die repair during emergency breakdowns on assigned areas and all lines when needed.

Process/complete work orders and requests.

Attend shift meetings/document and communicate daily work performed.

Complete daily reports/downtime reports with accuracy.

Perform die troubleshooting related to tolling that impact safety, quality, delivery and cost.

COP work area and tool box.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Computer/data entry skills preferred.

Ability to work with minimal supervision. 

Good communication skills.

Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.

Basic mechanical knowledge.

Required Experience:

Minimum of three months of relevant experience in machine/crane operation,  welding/fabrication, industrial/manufacturing, hand/power tools and/or stamping die maintenance (including Co-op experience) preferred.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Honda Factors:

Manufacturing environment

Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift long term.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, daily overtime and off shifts as needed.

Willingness to travel (percentage of travel varies between roles).
