Job Description

General Summary: 

The Financial Analyst-Customer Service will be responsible for the daily analysis, forecasting and accounting duties as well as continuing process development and improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help drive system and process improvements and support ongoing testing as changes are implemented

  • Use of analytical skills along with an in depth knowledge of system applications to provide ad-hoc reporting

  • Work with all Customer Service management to prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; this includes detail data gathering and financial statement preparation and analysis as well as maintaining and updating financial models

  • Review entries for accuracy; research discrepancies and make corrections; prepare monthly reconciliations of assigned accounts

  • Prepare accruals, journal entries and month end close.

  • Maintain sound accounting methods and systems in accordance with corporate policies, US GAAP, and IFRS

  • Help prepare monthly management reports and analysis

  • Monitor activity and ensure integrity between Aftermarket business system and SAP

  • Provide superior customer service to all internal and external customers

 

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance

  • 3-5 years accounting/finance experience preferably in a manufacturing or service environment

  • MBA in Finance/Accounting preferred

  • CPA preferred  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team oriented environment with all employment levels

  • Must be self-directed with a strong sense of urgency and ability to bring timely closure to projects/tasks

  • Act as a relationship builder and collaborator; ability to drive consensus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presenting and facilitating meetings

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Advanced Excel skills including modeling

  • SAP or major ERP system experience preferred

  • Strong technical accounting skills with core knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP as well as IFRS    

Physical Requirements:

  • Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
  • Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  • Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
  • Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  • Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
  • Effectively communicate in Business English language.
  • Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
  • Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided “reach assistance technology” or “movement assist technology” (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly’s, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
