Job Description

  • Responsibilities include the development and testing of automotive electrical systems (harness, horn, and relay box, and AC Inverter Voltage Stabilizer). This would include planning and proposing system construction, developing specifications, testing and analyzing parts by performing actual car and bench testing.
  • Additional responsibilities include: troubleshooting hardware issues, writing and presenting technical reports and meeting with suppliers and other departments to review technical issues.  
  • Communication with other unit’s responsible persons is required to coordiante loads, and understand the electrical structure deeply.  Also there is a frequent communication with design side required.

BSEE or BSME and a minimum of 1 year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Knowledge and interest in the automotive field and experience in the use of electrical measurement equipment (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.) and understanding of electronic circuit design. 

Candidate shall be self-motivated, organized, be able to manage multiple items in priority order, and able to maintain an open item list to complete items on-time.

Additionally, this a very hands-on position.  Candidate can expect to spend a significant portion of their time working on the car – confirming harness and box system.  When not on the car, good communication skills are required as the Harness engineer must interface with many other people to confirm the electrical distribution system.

Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime is required.
