About the Opportunity:
The Technical Support Representative provides technical assistance and guidance to Honda Aircraft customers and service facilities for Avionics Systems, Mechanical Systems and Structural related issues.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serves as technical support subject matter expert in the following aircraft systems: Avionics Systems, Mechanical Systems, and Structures Components.
  2. Works directly with HondaJet customers and service facilities regarding technical assistance.
  3. Maintains the customer database for accurate tracking of all field issues identified and resolved.
  4. Coordinates with Customer Support Specialists' on fleet system reliability issues.
  5. Maintains the reporting database to ensure all requirements are met in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part21.3.
  6. Assists parts analyst and warranty administrators as required.
  7. Coordinates Instructions for Continued Airworthiness updates based on customer feedback.
  8. Provides training in all aspects of HondaJet.
  9. Travel as needed.
Who You Are:
  1. 5 years or more years of experience in the aviation/aerospace industry or equivalent technical support atmosphere experience.
  2. Two year degree in Aviation related field from an accredited college or university strongly preferred.
  3. Strong technical knowledge in structural repair inspection methods and repair development in both composite and metal structures
  4. Working knowledge in mechanical and electrical system especially in support of door systems, interior components, aircraft lighting both internally and externally
  5. Understanding of Garmin 3000 Avionics and the integration with other aircraft systems
  6. Strong oral and written communication
  7. Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  8. Strong Customer Service skills
  9. Understanding of operations under FAR Parts 91 and 135
  10. Experience with FAR Part 145 repair station requirement
  11. Familiarity with EASA and/or CAA requirements
