Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to for assist in all aspects of the Integer's global corporate tax function, including the timely and accurate preparation of the company's federal and state income tax returns and preparation of the global effective tax rate. In addition, this positions will assist in the management of various tax audits, research, and the proactive development and implementation of strategic tax planning initiatives and business process improvements designed to maximize overall shareholder value. The incumbent will play a key role in assuring that the company is in compliance with Federal and State tax reporting record keeping.




Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

* Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

* Responsible for adhering to corporate tax processes and controls and participating in the timely completion and filing of all federal and state income tax returns.

* Responsible for the oversight and preparation of all monthly and quarterly sales, use and indirect tax returns.

* Assists in preparation of the quarterly and annual income tax provision for global operations in accordance with ASC 740.

* Maintains supporting schedules for all current and deferred tax asset and liability accounts.

* Works with the tax manager in governance of the established transfer pricing policies and the maintenance of transfer pricing documentation.

* Participates and leads tax projects as needed.

* Responsible for the analysis and coordination of information requested from 3rd party service providers.

* Considering all tax aspects of funding and movement of cash in order to maintain compliance with foreign exchange policy with international locations.

* Works cross functionally with the management and other analysts during federal and state audits.

* Participates in continuous improvement and business process improvement activities.

* Performs other duties as required.



Education & Experience:

* Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA strongly preferred.

* Minimum Experience: 3+ of year's public accounting experience. Big 4 experience preferred.

* Special Skills: Proactive tax member; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; independent and critical thinking; demonstrate strong customer focus and desire to build relationships; excellent analytical skills; demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity and ethical judgment.

* Specialized Knowledge: Must have solid understanding of US Tax Law and ASC 740; strong computer and technical skills, Experience with One Source Tax Provision Software a plus
