North Star Imaging, Inc., an ITW company, is the domestic leading manufacturer of turn-key 2D Digital X-ray and 3D X-ray Computed Tomography (CT) systems for the Industrial Nondestructive Testing industry. As well as the largest X-ray and CT contract services in the US. NSI’s technology is used by many different markets including Medical Devices, Electronics, Aerospace, Military/Defense, Castings, Plastics, Research and more. We also design and develop the software applications used in our systems and have the widest product portfolio range in the industry today, which keeps us way ahead of our competition. Our worldwide headquarters, is located in the city of Rogers, just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota. This facility has approximately 90 highly skilled employees including application specialists, mechanical, electrical and software engineers, programmers, level 3 instructors and others. Our North American Inspection Services Group (ISG) currently has three offices; Rogers, MN, Irvine, CA and Marlborough, MA.

This position is responsible for all North American Segment activities within the Inspection Services Group and is based at the headquarters in Rogers, MN.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve planned North American segment sales goals while managing the operational budget and attaining the growth and forecasted return on sales objectives. Full segment P&L responsibility.
  • Manage resources to ensure x-ray equipment sales application studies are performed efficiently with exceptional results.
  • Be knowledgeable, strategic, and reactive to customer requirements, market conditions, competition, potential, market position, etc.
  • Personnel management including recruitment, hiring, performance improvement planning, mentor ship, terminations, etc.
  • Segment annual operating planning and long-range planning. Presentation of respective segment plans to local and executive leadership.
  • This position is the commercial lead of the group and is responsible for driving the sales and marketing resources and activities associated with growth performance.
  • Play a vital role in developing ISG customers into equipment sales opportunities when ROI is achievable.
  • Actively participate on the NSI management team as a leader within the company.
  • All aspects of the Inspection Services Group segment.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Participate in company events as a management team representative; employee recognition, company events, charitable campaigns etc.
  • Promote communication, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, creativity, strong work ethic, positive attitude, interpersonal skills development, and efficient time management in a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support other corporate initiatives as appropriate. 

Stellenprofil

Required Education

Associates degree required for this position.

Required Experience

5 years minimum management experience leading teams of 10+ direct reports.

Prior sales experience required. 

Knowledge of the NDT industry is preferred.
