ITW Construction North America is seeking a Team Leader who will lead and coordinate the material handling team operations to ensure order fulfillment and shipment documentation accuracy. Operations include executing on time order fulfillment, outbound transportation, and communication with customer service teams.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead the material handling team and allocate customer orders by priority to meet required ship dates.
  • Execute required order quality processes to ensure customers receive accurate shipments and documentation to meet compliance requirements.
  • Communicate with customer service regarding order status related to stock, carriers, or any order discrepancies for timely resolution.
  • Coordinate the transportation of parcel, LTL and truckload shipments based on customer defined routing requirements.
  • Effectively address and communicate any issues with WMS/ ERP/ RF systems to appropriate division resources.
  • Ensure all warehouse policy, procedures, and warehouse distribution processes are followed by material handling team and enforce when necessary.
  • Make decisions autonomously in a high-volume environment.
  • Improve processes where applicable to reduce shipping errors and improve quality and productivity against set standards.
  • Actively participate on the facility safety team. Conduct monthly audits and complete action items.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required, Associate Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of supervisory warehousing experience
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift hours, 2:30-11pm
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership experience in an empowered team work environment
  • Knowledge of warehouse and material handling safety requirements and training
  • Knowledge and experience in aspects of shipping/receiving logistics
  • Forklift certified or experience required
  • Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office and ERP. Navision ERP and UPS preferred
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment
  • Ability to solve practical problems
