The Position:

In this position, you play a leading role in driving organic growth for the Celeste business unit by developing and implementing strategies to grow this business segment through end-user demand creation meeting revenue and margin expectations. Directing and coordinating all sales, marketing, and customer service activities, departments and resources; and leading and developing a high performing organization by utilizing best practice sales and talent management processes. The BUM will have indirect reporting relationships with Division Accounting, Research & Development, and Human Resources to provide additional oversight and guidance. 

This heavily commercial and highly visible role reports to the Vice President & General Manager and sits on the Division’s Leadership Team, position is based in Easton, MD.  

What you will do:

  • Lead the execution of the Aerospace segment growth initiatives/strategy, directing and coordinating activities of sales, marketing, and customer service
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the organizations' core competencies and differentiated capabilities and apply this knowledge to provide value-added solutions to customers and lead development of new products for those customers.
  • Develop and implement core sales policies, process and methodologies to increase sales effectiveness
  • Build and execute sales plans to create a pipeline that provides opportunities to over-drive targeted growth plans
  • Ensures utilization and development of talent across the sales organization.  Identifies and develops key leaders for future roles.  

Job Requirements

What we are looking for:

         Bachelor's degree (B. S.)  or equivalent

         5-7 Years Management Experience in operations or commercial

         Minimum 10 years of sales and marketing (management) experience in B2B Industrial markets through end user and distributor relationships experience preferred

         Strong leadership experience including proven success managing the performance and development of a sales, customer service and marketing team

         Proven capability establishing good relationships and contributing in a team environment.

         Exceptional track record of developing and implementing sales growth strategies, while communicating and exemplifying the values of ITW; act with integrity and trust, operate with simplicity, treat everyone with respect, take shared risk.

         Detailed oriented & thorough, with ability to think “big picture” and understand the key trends and levers that drive the business.
