Job Description

The primary function of this role is operating injection molding machines, assembly machines and or/auxiliary equipment. 

• Inspect and assemble parts and assemblies in compliance with work instructions 

• Place packed manufactured parts in required/proper packaging, layer packing parts

• Effectively communicate with supervisor and quality control technicians on any non-conformance in a timely fashion

• Responsible for the quality of products 

• Maintain assigned workstation in an organized, clean and neat manner according to established success standards

• General housekeeping of the workstation and surrounding area by sweeping, restocking components, picking up parts prior to the end of the shift or leaving the work area

• Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly

• Ensure that each part label is accurate

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience in a manufacturing environment required

• Must be able to work weekends and work a flexible schedule when required.  

• Ability to read, write and speak English 

• Good mechanical aptitude along with good computer literacy

• Strong organizational skills 

• Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
