Job Description

Job Duties:

  1. Make all necessary machine adjustments to consistently produce zippered products and within quality specifications at or above productivity targets; line speed, yield, uptime.
  2. Ensure proper winder set-up and operation to wind products per specifications.
  3. Perform efficient set-ups, changeovers, and start-ups.
  4. Coordinate/communicate troubleshooting efforts with team members, supervision, quality assurance, and maintenance.
  5. Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required.
  6. Maintain appropriate levels of correct materials on the line at all times.
  7. Ensure proper labeling and identification of all materials, raw, WIP, and finished goods.
  8. Perform all quality checks and operate testing equipment per procedure.
  9. Complete all necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  10. Understand all safety hazards, and follow all safety rules and precautions.
  11. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
  12. Complete all required daily and weekly cleaning tasks per Master Cleaning Schedule procedures.
  13. Other job related duties as assigned.


  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Must be self motivated, a strong team player, and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
  3. Must have above average troubleshooting skills.
  4. Must have good communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  2. Ability to lift up to 50#
  3. Ability to walk
