Job Description

Responsible for sourcing support/ financial planning functions. Primary role is to support the global sourcing group by driving fact-based decision-making processes. Perform insightful analysis to drive cost improvements by understanding the broad sourcing & supplier manufacturing perspective and the financial processes that support it.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

•         Analyze global spend & cost data to support global sourcing goals – Supplement data set to enhance key attributes

•         Analyze material margins to improve company OI performance

•         Develop and maintain Project Tracker system to monitor savings & inflationary impacts – utilize data to drive new opportunities

•         Administrator of FEG Sharepoint site

•         Participate on the strategic negotiation teams

•         Analyze purchase price variances (PPV) or other systems used to measure compliance to strategy

•         Execute Monthly, Quarterly & Annual reports utilized by Management team and Finance

•         Perform Supplier Diversity reporting

•         Allocation of Suppliers rebates

•         Other Ad hoc reports as assigned

Expected Areas of Competence

•         Computer skills; intermediate to advanced Excel and Access required.  Knowledge and utilization of Powerpoints, Microsoft Power Bi and Sharepoint is desired.

•         Strong communication (oral and written) skills

•         Ability to be a key business partner with internal customers and suppliers

•         Demonstrated strong analytical skills.

•         Ability to work in a team-driven environment.

•         Highly motivated, self-starter who is willing to deliver results and meet strict deadlines.

•         Knowledge of Finance is beneficial.

Job Requirements

  • BA in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or related focus
  • MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience required in sourcing, finance, or manufacturing
  • Minimum of 2 years in similar role
