We are looking for a Business Development Manager – Direct Fix to join our International team in Middle East Region (Dubai). The Middle East business has office and warehouse facilities in Dubai, Jebel Ali Free Zone. From this base it supplies and services customers in the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt and other countries in the region. 

Your role will be to accelerate sustainable and high margin share growth in selected ‘direct fix to concrete’ market segments. This will be achieved by utilising a solution selling approach and partnering with our distribution partners.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support and drive 80’s distributors to meet accelerated growth targets by employing targeted selling techniques
  • Enhance and track distributors competency
  • Contribute to the development of ITW’s value proposition for the direct fix market
  • Convert end users and distributors from traditional methods to ITW’s preferred fixing solution
  • Demonstrate best practice selling techniques to distribution partners and provide product, application and technical support
  • Maintain regular communication (internal & external) on progress including market overview, trip reports, monthly and weekly reports.

This role reports to Regional Manager Middle East. You will be required to visit customers and building sites on a regular basis and must be prepared and able to travel regularly (once a month) to countries in the ME including KSA and Oman.

You will ideally have:

  • Some experience in direct sales and or B2B through industrial distribution
  • Experience in construction industry
  • Ability to build consensus and collaborate effectively
  • Understanding of technical applications and products
  • Set high standards for performance for yourself and others
  • Ability to prioritise – apply the 80/20 mindset
  • Exhibits ITW values – trust, integrity, simplicity, respect and shared risk
  • Tertiary/professional qualification (degree level)
