Title:                 BSRO Regional Account manager

Reports to:      National Sales Manager

Location:         Remote, United States

Summary:

The BSRO Regional Account Manager; is responsible for the management and growth of assigned BSRO Regions within North America, working with BSRO Regional Staff, BSRO Area Managers and ITW Field Based Managers, while adhering to the parameters of integrity, honesty, and dedication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Meeting the BSRO established Sales Plan for each calendar year.
  2. Motivating BSRO Regional, Area and Store associates to achieve established company goals and direction.
  3. Identifying, scheduling, coordinating, preparing and executing BSRO IMPACT sales training across their assigned region.
  4. Coordination, verification and following BSRO approved programs of each Region and Area.
  5. Visit Regions and Areas to evaluate, in conjunction with the Tele-Care program, assigned BSRO accounts.
  6. Managing the equipment program and assisting in the on-going maintenance of the machines (800#, Swap-Out Program and Hot Shot Coverage).
  7. The development of Regional BSRO marketing / training strategies in their assigned BSRO Region.
  8. Attending Regional, Area and Store outings and initiatives.
  9. Responsible for the monthly review and correct distribution of all BSRO (Zone / District) promotional funds.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related major.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional background in automotive products sales and services to the professional installer and /or management of independent distributors markets.
  • 3+ years of proven experience managing and directing a sales team.
  • Proven track record of positive sales performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Must be able to write clearly and concisely to foreign customers whose first language is not English.
  • Must be persistent and enthusiastic, with an upbeat personality and a high level of resilience and adaptability.
  • Up to 90% travel in their assigned Regions and between ITW offices, training and or conference, this includes air travel.

Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts.  Use appropriate resources to solve problems. Pronounced pursuit of quality performance characterized by timeliness and professionalism.  They must exhibit a pro- active leadership style, with team focus, and high ethics/integrity level. 

Work Environment:

Must be able to work with BSRO Category Management, Purchasing, Education, Store Locations, Regional / Area office environments, and able to run errands to complete projects.  Safety glasses and proper foot protection may be required.  Must be able to work under stringent time constraints (e.g., short time frame projects) which may necessitate long hours, physical labor, and fast paced environment.
