ITW CCNA division is seeking a National Account Manager to join our MRO sales team.  The National Account Manager develops, manages, and leads the implementation of strategies and programs to profitably grow our business through key MRO Distributors.

This role will be based in Glendale Heights, IL

ITW CCNA offers a broad range of professional grade anchoring tools and fasteners for numerous construction applications. Our products include structural wood fasteners (GRK Fasteners™), concrete anchoring systems (Tapcon®, Red Head®, Ramset®), self-drilling screws (Teks®) and drywall anchoring systems (E-Z Ancor®). Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop market/user driven strategies to profitably grow ITW's market share that support annual and long-range plans
  • Measure account performance and analyze/interpret data to create business plans to drive plan revenue for the assigned account
  • Drive accountability for plans/actions that build our brand within account
  • Coordinate and implement new product placement, promotions and tactics to grow sales
  • Measure/monitor effectiveness of programs as well as manage them for customer base
  • Recognize trends, creates strategies and develops vision to drive change to maximize sales and earnings
  • Work cross-functionally to provide feedback/recommendations and actively collaborate with other functions to ensure coordination of strategic account selling plans
  • Develop high, deep and wide relationships with key decision makers, maximizing retail sales opportunities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree required
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience with Key account responsibility
  • Proven ability to influence customers
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle with a clean driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Travel required 50%

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, within typical office working conditions.  While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, climate variances and moving mechanical equipment typically found in a manufacturing environment.  The noise level in the work environment (office) is usually low, but much higher when exposed to the construction or manufacturing areas.  Certain personal protective equipment is required when in the manufacturing areas.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Physical Demands:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral visions, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel. Position requires approximately 50% overnight travel.
