We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Assistant Treasurer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Treasury team in our Athens Office.

The successful candidate will join us in September 2019 and the first 1 month will be spent in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, receiving an insightful training with your new colleagues prior to shifting to your regional location in Athens. Role summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing treasury functions to meet the financial obligations and maximize the financial strength of the Group. You will be responsible for supporting the Treasury Team in managing the daily company banking activities and we will count on you regarding all our day-to-day processes.

What you will need to do:

  • Monitor cash balances to ensure sufficient liquidity exists
  • Perform debt management and reporting
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate execution of the daily cash flow using e-banking system functionalities (Cash wire processing, transfers, monitoring and reporting)
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate execution of Trade Finance Products such as LGs and LCs  (LGs/ LCs processing, monitoring and reporting)
  • Liaise with banking institutions, vendors, departments, projects as required
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date database of bank account details, credit lines, outstanding LCs & LGs 
  • Handle administrative requests for credit references to support new projects in coordination with other departments

  • BSc degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting or relevant field
  • MBA or MSc in Finance or Banking is a strong plus
  • 2-3 years of experience in a treasury team at a corporate environment or a bank. If you have experience as assistant Relationship Manager even better!
  • Fluency in English
