We are looking for a Level 1 Systems Engineer that demonstrates strong customer service and troubleshooting skills to resolve all technical issues for our clients. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting all end users relating to hardware and software, computer applications, and LAN related issues.

The ideal candidate should have EXCELLENT British or American English accent and will be responsible for the following work.

    • Take telephone or email inquiries, and troubleshoot hardware, software or network problems while meeting client SLA obligations in a courteous manner.
    • Provide 1st level client support using telephone and remote support tools, via our help desk ticketing system.
    • Responding to and resolving desktop, and tier 1 server and network issues
    • Escalate unsolved issues or questions to the Senior Systems Engineer.
    • Supporting Microsoft Windows stack, and Apple MAC environments. Provide 1st and 2nd level support for windows workstations.
    • Provide first level support in VMWARE, Hyper-V, Windows servers.
    • Online Backup and AV solutions like Azure backup, Intronis (Barracuda), BES, trend Micro Symantec endpoint protection etc.
    • Managing and Monitor windows services such as Active Directory, MS Exchange (Hosted and on Premise), DNS, DHCP, Office 365, Azure, Windows Shares, Antivirus and backup servers.
    • Use Remote Monitoring tools and call tracking to log and route tickets in a high-call volume environment (e.g. Remedy, and ConnectWise)
    • Imaging and Deploying Desktops and Laptops for end users
    • Creating and maintaining client-related documentation.
    • Recognizing and escalating more difficult problems to Tier 2 support
    • Patch Management of Servers and Workstations in Domain
    • Actively participating as a strategic member of the technology team, including participating in team meetings and providing technical support for our managed service clients.

We are hiring for the second and third shifts (Athens Local Time).

Shift 2 - 15:00 – 24:00 with a 1-hour break
Shift 3 - 12:00 - 8:00

  • Our holiday schedule is not what you are used to. Some of our holidays in the US do not line up with the ones in Greece and vice versa. You will be following the US holiday schedule.
  • Currently our desk has support 7AM EST to 8PM EST and we will be moving to 24x5. This means you will be rotated into a third shift - 0:00 – 09:00 with a 1-hour break (Athens local time) in the near future.
  • Each member of the team will be on call for a weekend every 4-6 weeks and you will be compensated additionally for this.
  • Team work – it is imperative that you have a good understanding of teamwork and team spirit. We all work together.

ΑΠΑΙΤΗΣΕΙΣ ΘΕΣΗΣ

Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in Microsoft Windows desktop and level 1 server support
  • 2+ years of providing support in a client-facing Help Desk, Technical Remote Support Server/ Desktop Support or Systems Administrator role providing End User Support and/or Customer Service.
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English)
  • Must be able to be both a team player and can provide exemplary results while working on projects independently


Desirable Skills:

  • Detail oriented and strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work on multiple, concurrent tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Take initiative, and response to time-sensitive situations are essential, along with discretion and good sense in dealing with clients
  • Comp TIA, A+ Computer Specialist Certification (Preferred but not required)
  • Microsoft Systems Engineer Certification (Preferred but not required)
  • ITIL V3 Foundation (Preferred but not required)
