Live Music, Sound and Events Manager (Ref: IR/MSEM021)

Job Information

Office Location: Halkidiki, Greece

Department: Music and Events 

Contract: Full Time

Your main responsibilities

  • Coordinate Resorts' events including performers, music, lights, sound; organize facilities and manage all events’ details (location, special equipment, etc.)
  • Coordinate event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within deadlines
  • Manage a team of musicians, performers, technicians, and coordinate their activities and daily program
  • Coordinate the weekly or monthly payroll of the team in close collaboration with Human Resources Department
  • Issue invoices and collect payments promptly; create comprehensive and accurate financial reports
  • Liaise with guests to organize special events as per their needs
  • Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts before closing any deals
  • Produce detailed proposals for events (party, private events, etc.) and manage all pre-event planning including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing
  • Handle any issue and troubleshoot any emerging problem; anticipate and plan for different scenarios
  • Ensure the smooth operation and development of sound systems
  • Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest
  • Research suppliers and contractors; initiate partnerships and negotiate prices
  • Stay under budget while planning event specifications
  • Ensure events and staff members follow company policies and procedures


Your main qualifications/skills

  • Prior work experience and hands-on exposure as Entertainment Manager or Live Music Manager
  • A portfolio of previously managed events (weddings, parties, events, etc.) and a solid network of musicians, light and sound technicians, DJs is required
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of ERP would be a plus
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Event planning experience, team management experience, time management
  • Attention to detail, team oriented, strong problem-solving skills
  • Flexible to travel
