ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΘΕΣΗΣ ΕΡΓΑΣΙΑΣ

Position Summary:

The Retail Manager is responsible for managing the total operation of their assigned store and supervising the store and employees.   S/he is responsible for the training and development of his/her employees.  S/he will generate sales through their team, perform outstanding customer service, and maximize profits by controlling expenses.  Other duties include but are not limited to the development of the Assistant Manager or Third Key in management responsibilities and the protection of company assets.  The Retail Manager must develop strong working relationships with his/her retail partner store or mall management (as applicable), AT&D of his/her region and head office support departments. 



Responsibilities:

1.  Drive Store Sales performance

  • Achieve Store Sales Target based on specific Action Plan and SWOT Analysis
  • Lead store team to achieve store targets: coach them on Customer Experience, Sales Techniques, Product Knowledge and business analysis to improve performance.
  • Monitor Commercial KPIs: in store traffic, Conversion Rate, UPT, AST, # of transactions per hour per FTE, Productivity, retention, Capture Rate, Loyalty Programme.
  • Maximize individual Sales productivity: drive conversion rate and productivity (Sales / FTE)
  • Set Retail Sales Targets (Year/Quarter/Month/Week/Days) for their Store and follow daily results
  • Implement Social Media Strategy for the store based on Competition & Brand Priorities
  • Create and implement a calendar of weekly Retail Animations to drive traffic, conversion and motivate the team
  • Deploy scheduling process. Control that store schedules are built to maximize Sales, productivity and conversion.
  • With Mall Operators: Work in partnership to find opportunities to animate the store, participate in Mall lead events / initiatives, leverage Mall space or media opportunities
  • Have an excellent business understanding and monitoring of his/her store location vs Competitors, other Retailers


2.  Deliver 5 Star Customer Experience

  • Achieve the Customer Experience goals for the store. (Mystery Shopper Rating)
  • Inspire, motivate and Coach Store Team (by using Monitor Mentoring, Floorography Tools) on all elements of 5 Star Customer Experience. Cultivate a superior Experience culture focusing on the customer as our #1 priority
  • Ensures excellent customer Experience is always being given in store by spending time on the sales floor to observe and seek customer feedback (80/20).
  • Hold each MUp Artist accountable for the quality of Customer Experience in their store while maintaining zero tolerance of customer complaints
  • Track results and follow up: use Mystery Shopper results, Customer Complaint reports as strategic tools to drive performance
  • Enhance Omnichannel experience


3.  Manage the Team and Develop Talent

  • Ensure that the Store Manager provides clear goals and expectations per artist – Feed Forward.
  • Foster teamwork and team spirit.
  • Schedule monthly team meetings and conduct required performance reviews.
  • Create a clear succession plan for each person on the team by leveraging their strengths – Leveraging Talent.
  • Create a clear succession plan and Development plan for Assistant Store Manager.
  • Report Training Needs - Opportunities 
  • Follow up on new hire orientations to ensure proper induction to the Brand, Store.
  • Look for hiring opportunities from competition at all levels of Store Management
  • Follow Up on MUp Artist for Tool Usage given by the brand (Mac on Demand, We Love Retail, PKM Digital, HR Connect, I-phones, Ippos etc)
  • Hold Team accountable for their own achievements, performance, behaviours and compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Manage the progressive disciplinary process by proactively addressing poor performance, attendance or conduct issues.

4.  Deliver Retail Operations Excellence

  • Maintain excellent visual merchandizing and hygiene standards at all time (product presentations, displays, labelling)
  • Maintain and monitor store inventory levels; report out of stocks, minimize stock holding of slow movers, process testers, returns, FIFO, and destructions with accuracy.
  • Create Store Order based on Stock Levels, ABC Classification, Seasonality, Brand Strategy, Promotions.
  • Manage all Store Operation Procedures
  • Complete all HR documentation accurately and on time (HR Connect)
  • Create a feedback loop for Brand needs: consumer, product
  • Ability to Create a Presentation for Store Performance using Microsoft - Office tools


Qualifications / Skills:



Education: 
Minimum high school education, University Degree preferred.



Job-Related Skills:     
 Previous store management background necessary & experience in cosmetic field preferred. Make Up Skills will be considered as an asset

Job-Related Experience:
Minimum 5 years Retail Experience in managerial position, cosmetic preferred.

Effort:

This position requires excellent communication skills to be performed on a daily basis.  This position requires moderate physical effort.  Some unpacking and packing of materials is required when restocking the floor supplies.  There may be moving and setting up of displays and other events taking place in your location.  At counters, one must stand nearly 8 hours.
