Job Description and responsibilities


The applicant will be included in a team responsible for design and delivery of large-scale/mission-critical Telecommunication projects. The engineer will be responsible for implementation and leading the transformation of businesses (in and outside of Greece) by providing their expertise and willingness to evolve into expert OSS Engineers in the areas like Service Provisioning and Activation; Network and Service Inventory, development of Next-Generation Discovery and Reconciliation processes (ensuring consistency between OSS IT systems and real networks).


Required qualifications:



  • BSc in Telecommunications or  Software Engineering

  • Understanding of telecom processes

  • Good understanding of telecommunication networks

  • Excellent team work and communication skills

  • Fluency in Greek and English

  • Dependability and capability to take initiatives




Other desired qualifications:



  • Experience in OSS/BSS Applications

  • Experience in Java programming, Web Services, XML, Unix Shell Scripting

  • Experience in Java programming

  • Experience in Xquery/Xpath scripting

  • Understanding of RDBMS and SQL

  • Experience with Oracle weblogic, JBOSS Application Servers

  • Post-graduate degree
