Mental Health Safety and Security Representative - Overnights 7pm to 7am - Days will vary - 4 week rotation

Job Description

At KVC, employees are expected to be role models for children and families, be solution focused and build upon their strengths. You will be expected to provide compassionate care; embracing empathy and kindness. As a Safety and Security Representative you will assist direct care staff as needed with meeting patient needs, activities and responsibilities, all while  modeling safe and positive behavior and using effective problem solving skills. When needed, you may act in a Lead Capacity. Must pass background check and drug screen. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Base pay rate starts at $18 per hour plus shift differentials.

Scheduled days will vary during a four week rotation. You can expect to work one or two weekends per month.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: At least one year experience in a behavioral health setting or related filed, focused on serving individuals through the use of trauma informed care. Experience engaging individuals in a behavioral health crisis preferred.
