Job Description

KVC is seeking reliable Youth Care Transporters who want to make a difference in the lives of children in foster care. We need dedicated individuals to transport clients to and from family visits, doctor’s appointments, court hearings, and more.

Schedules vary from week to week and may include early morning or late nights depending on the needs of the client. One-way transports may be up to several hundred miles to a destination then back in the same day. We are seeking candidates who can be available on an as needed basis.

This position does include use of a company fleet vehicle for business related travel and transports only. Transporters must be at least 21 years of age, have valid driver’s license and clear driving record, be fully insured and obtain a Department of Transportation one-year certification paid for by KVC.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working or volunteering with youth or families
  • Basic to intermediate computer and typing skills are required to provide documentation of all transports. Access to a computer and internet are required to receive job assignments.
