Job Description

One (1) Part-time Casual position

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Food Service Department in order to ensure efficient and correct workflow. 
  • Training and mentoring role for new hires, and will assist in procuring new staff members.
  • Complete daily sanitation audits, ordering, waste management audits
  • Perform all duties if there is a shortage of staff
  • Complete daily and monthly administrative financial reports.

  • Weekends, Holidays, Sick and Vacation Coverage.

Job Requirements

  • Associates Degree required or equivalent experience with a current licensed Certified Dietary Management (CDM) certificate;
  • Require 3-5 years supervisory experience in hospital institution or Skilled Nursing Facility Foodservice Management
  • 4 or more years experience in Food Service along with experience as a Diet Clerk in a hospital setting is required
  • Must have computerized Diet Office experience working with therapeutic diet orders
  • Current Chicago Department of Public Health Food Sanitation Certificate required
  • Requires strong computer skills in diet office computer management applications and a flexible schedule
