Job Description/Summary

Manager, Sales Operations will be responsible for supporting the sales of Lasko Products, LLC products to channel partners/retailers, including managing forecasting, sellable inventory, pricing and program support, order processing, 360 customer (channel) support, and sales/marketing organization support.

Essential Functions

  •  Manage the Account Services team including employee hiring, training, and development
  • Spearhead process improvement within sales support and order processing teams
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to develop and implement sales forecasts (annual, monthly, updates)
  • Work with Marketing and Creative Services to drive sales presentation process
  • Support sales team members from product presentation through post-sale follow up
  • Work closely with S&OP team regarding production, inventory and customer management
  • Communicate and facilitate customer requirements to all appropriate departments to ensure flawless execution from presentation of the product to delivery of goods
  • Work closely with production and monitor inventory to meet customer needs and ensure accurate delivery
  • Provide solutions to customer inquiries and issues
  •  Manage data synchronization for all major accounts
  •  Manage order processing team
  •  Manage national trade shows
  •  Support marketing and sales team projects, as required

Competencies, Abilities and Educational Requirements

  •  College degree (MBA a plus)
  •  8+ total years’ experience in forecasting, sales/channel operations, and inventory management
  •  Deep knowledge of retailers/channels; consumer durable goods experience a plus
  •  Experience managing a team of at least 6 people
  • Demonstrated financial management experience  
  • Strong analytics and forecasting backgroundProven experience in creating effective teamwork and an environment conducive to developing cross-functional collaboration

Certifications and Special Requirements

Must be organized and detail oriented, utilize problem-solving skills, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Must assert clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Must have strong managerial and leadership qualifications.

Ideal Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, including strong Excel/PowerPoint
