Job Description

Lasko Products Inc., the nation’s leading producer of home comfort products, has an opening for a full time Smartsheet System Evangelist.  This highly visible position will champion of the Smartsheet suite of tools at Lasko.   You will demonstrate and teach the enterprise features of Smartsheet such as dashboarding and project templates in a manufacturing environment.   People skills and the ability to think logically will be important abilities to teach, support and enable people. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to grow their knowledge and build understanding of technologies and real-world business issues.  The candidate will be expected to work as a liaison between IT and other parts of the organization to help meet common business goals and champion Smartsheet and technologies across departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and propose efficient, best practice enterprise practices in Smartsheet
  • Develop templates in Smartsheet that are used by business users
  • Develop dashboards in Smartsheet that enhance communication
  • Enable business users to make their own sheets in line with established practices
  • Provide Tier-II-IV help desk support for in-house and third-party applications
  • Participate in other development and business analyst roles as needed
  • Create policy and best practices for use of newly implemented technologies
  • Create user manuals and how-to documentation as needed.


  • Communicate directly with users to understand application issues and system requirements.
  • Provide non-technical explanations for technical solutions
  • Provide after-hours support as part of an on-call rotation


  • Physically able to perform the Essential and Additional Duties and Responsibilities of the job including; walking, and sitting, standing, occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds.


  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in Smartsheet
  • Experience with practices and terminology used by manufactures
  • Ability to communicate on both the technical and non-technical level
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and manage time effectively
  • Good IT working knowledge
  • A self-starter who possesses strong customer focus, command skills, agreeable with implementing change and dealing with ambiguity
  • Analytical, problem solving, and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive relationship building skills in order to acquire trust of business partners
  • Strong confidentiality practices

Experience in any of the technologies/tools below is beneficial:

  • Understanding of SharePoint 2016+ and related technologies (Powerapps)
  • Microsoft stack development
