Premier law firm located in downtown Atlanta is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their Litigation practice group. This is a very busy position which will support a group of attorneys. Candidates must have 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment. Prefer experience in Construction Litigation.
Must have excellent technical skills including a strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Document Management System, Time Entry, e-Filing, and an accurate typing speed of at least 65+ WPM.

Primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Draft standard pleadings, correspondence, memoranda and other documents.
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic files.
  • Enter, revise and finalize timekeeper timesheets
  • Make necessary arrangements for meetings (i.e., depositions, mediations, interviews, and vendor and facility reservations).
  • Maintain attorney specific case lists, charts, and status of cases and outcomes.
  • Professionally communicate with clients, opposing counsel, vendors, and firm personnel through email.
  • Routinely review and follow up on client deadlines and calendar appointments in accordance with the established calendar system.
