Job Description

$13.00-$14.00/hour + $400-$500 commission monthly


Job Summary: Sells automotive powertrain components such as Engines, Transmissions and Differentials to businesses or individuals over the telephone.


Essential Job Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned


Answer inbound phone calls and provide information regarding availability, price and lead time on our product.


Answer customer questions in regards to warranty, quality, and specifications on the product.


Duties also included checking on back order log to make sure if product is available and ready to release along with keeping customers informed on orders still pending.


 Call customers prior to entering backorders to determine if product is still needed / wanted.


Provide customer service in accordance with ATK quality policy.


 Be familiar with ATK internal policies, values, employee manual and ATK Quality Policy. Be aware of his/her process/sub-process and understand related procedures.


 Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.


 Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.


 Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.


 Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.


 Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.


 Makes outbound lead follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services or to verify Vin, Make, year model.
