Job Description

Administrative Assistant is to perform secretarial duties, be a highly responsible clerical, and administrative work of a confidential nature, with minimum detailed supervision.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Will screen phone calls/direct calls and inquiries to appropriate staff member, schedule appointments, and take message.
  • Greet clients and visitors.
  • General office functions including: mail (receiving and prepare outgoing mail); maintain/order office supplies; attend staff/office meetings as needed;
  • Maintain client confidentiality; custodian for gas cards/bus tickets, and maintain other statistical data for office, organization and funders; maintain organization vehicles for maintenance and gas card tracking reports.
  • Assist with other office tracking and tasks for building maintenance.
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear manner; have knowledge of computer applications for Microsoft Office; ability to work well with others and willingness to accept responsibility.

Job Requirements

Identified candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School/equivalent graduate.
  • Business school training/at least three years of responsible secretarial/administrative position, preferred.
  • Background check clearance, both criminal and CANTS.
