Job Description

Local company is looking for several people to assist in their customer service department.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

 

  • Enter phone orders quickly and accurately
  • Ensure that the shipping address, part numbers, logos and order type is correct
  • Check customer allowance balances and verify the information is correct
  • Troubleshoot allowance problems and escalate to the Customer Service Manager when necessary
  • Handle catalog requests and send to the appropriate person
  • Process Rush and Same Day order requests
  • Answer inquiries regarding delivery dates, back ordered items and track customer shipments if necessary
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate merchandise
  • Transfer calls to the appropriate department as required, or contact other departments to obtain information to questions you cannot answer
  • Clearly communicate issues that you cannot solve to the Customer Service Manager in a timely manner
  • Work with team members well and communicate with them effectively
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Job Requirements

Customer Service Requirements:

 

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively build rapport with customers
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong computer skills
  • Action-orientation
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of one – three years prior Inbound Customer Service Call experience strongly preferred.
  • Must have some type of corporate customer service experience, not retail.
  • Must have your own transportation, NO PUBLIC
  • Must be able to successfully pass drug and background screening
