Medical Front Desk - Medical Secretary - Practice Assistant - Diagnostic Imaging


Daily Responsibilities:

DIRs are responsible for scheduling patients exams, verifying insurance authorizations, screening patients for imaging exams, contacting patients to schedule exams, contacting referring offices for any pending matters regarding imaging orders, etc. They are essentially "schedulers" working in a fast paced call-center environment. A lot of typing involved and due to high phone volumes we need to make sure that DIR is able to complete all documentation processes in a timely fashion.


  • 6+ months medical secretary experience
  • Typing skills
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology


  • Location: Weymouth, MA
  • Contract to hire, 720 hours
  • Schedule: Part Time, hours TBD
  • Pay rate based on experience
