Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Location: Broomfield, Colorado

Pay: $16-18

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00pm

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering, researching, and resolving customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems in a fast-paced, healthcare call center environment.

Additional responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include:

  • Receiving requests by mail, telephone, or in person regarding insurance claims/policies
  • Making 50-100 inbound/outbound calls on a daily basis
  • Speaking with customers, assisting with questions they may have regarding their health insurance policy, claims they may have, or any other general questions regarding information on providers
  • Handling provider calls about patient policy holders coverage
  • Responding to grievances, complaints, or appeals
  • Seeking assistance with complex customer issues

Must Have Skills of a Billing Customer Service Representative:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of customer service experience
  • Preferred - 1-2 years of call center experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally/grammatically correct and knowledge of basic math.
  • Comfortable being on the phone and providing information on patient bills, etc.
  • Experience working on phones in past positions
