Pharmacy Technician - Customer Service Associate - Clinical Healthcare - Medical Insurance

Job Responsibilities

This pharmacy technician opportunity is located in a call center environment. The primary responsibility of the worker is to receive inbound calls to process prior authorizations for Specialty medications. Worker will utilize multiple computer systems and speak with the caller, all at the same time. Ability to multi-task is a must! Put your customer service skills on display, as we pride ourselves on our ability to help our callers in a friendly and timely manner!

Other responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician role include:

  • Take incoming calls from MD offices, patients, and third-party callers
  • Work Prior Authorizations verbally over the phone, via fax, or via electronic submission
  • Provide excellent customer service to our callers
  • Work with multiple computer systems at once, while talking on the phone


$15.50/hour + Full Benefits, PTO, and weekly pay

As a Pharmacy Technician, you must have superior customer service and communication skills. You must be detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Having outstanding phone etiquette skills is also vital to this role.

Other requirements of the Pharmacy Technician role include:

  • Arizona Pharmacy Technician or Trainee License (Certified Technician a plus)
  • Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
  • Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.
  • Call center experience preferred
  • Pharmacy or healthcare experience a plus
