This is an overnight position that requires rotating weekend shifts (you will not work every weekend!). GREAT fit for someone who is active outside of work and loves science!!!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Performs laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition of ingredients, in-process samples and finished product to determine compliance to specifications.
  • Records test results on standardized forms and writes test reports describing procedures used.
  • Cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment.
  • Calibrates and maintains laboratory instruments.
  • Performs the tasks that will ensure that the product produced is safe for public consumption; meets company specifications; and meets or exceeds all local, state and federal regulations.
  • Must follow all company and regulatory policies/guidelines relating to FDA and quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Some experience with quality control or quality assurance
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Compensation:

  • Over $18/hour with night differential
