Job Description


The Accounts Payable Associate is primarily responsible for the daily processing of invoices. These activities include, but are not limited to, ensuring invoices are coded to the appropriate general ledger and branch number, confirm an approval on the invoice, entering invoices into the accounting system, internal and external communication to resolve issues, and other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Check and process invoices for payment, including scanning invoices into the accounting system, obtaining approvals and coding to the appropriate branch number and general ledger account
  • Reconcile vendor statements, researching and rectifying discrepancies
  • Generate accounts payable reports and perform a weekly check run
  • Assist in the review process of employee expense reports


  • Associates Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Suite (Excel and Word)
  • Ability to perform analysis of spreadsheets related to account payable entry and general ledger
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Ability to prioritize job duties
