Job Description

NextCare, Inc. is currently seeking an Assistant Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operation of the clinic with support from the Clinic Manager. As the Assistant Clinic Manager for NextCare your day will vary as it will require balancing many tasks at one time.  The essential responsibilities are as follows:

  • Assists in ensuring adequate staffing is present through the scheduling of clinical staff, Clinical Care Specialists and Patient Service Specialists, and any additional staff needed
  • Maintains skills as Clinical Care Specialist and/or Patient Service Specialist, as applicable, to work in the capacity of either position when staffing needs arise
  • Manages programs, as necessary, to ensure an adequate level of supplies and equipment are present in the facility. Makes suggestions for additional and replacement of equipment.
  • Provides feedback to the Clinic Manager and/or Area Operations Manager regarding Clinical Care Specialist and Patient Service Specialist conduct and performance
  • Supports Clinic Manager and/or Area Operations Manager in preparation and delivery of performance management documentation and communications
  • Addresses client concerns promptly, utilizing customer service skills. Makes recommendations for and/or assist in implementing resolution as determined necessary
  • Participates in interviewing, hiring and training of personnel
  • Ensures that service standards are being achieved. Monitors the service tracking mechanisms for opportunities for improvement as it relates to patient experience
  • Treats patients and co-workers consistent with the NextCare Mission Statement, Vision, Values and Performance Standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or described in Company policy.

Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education: Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent

Certification: Current healthcare professional level CPR certification issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety Health Institute or National Safety Council.

VALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: Minimum of three years previous management experience in healthcare related field, preferably in medical office environment. Strong human resource and financial management skills. Typing and computer knowledge.

Additional Training: Other medical or academic degree. Customer Service, Human Resource and Financial Management training.
