Our diverse and highly skilled Human Resources (HR) Division is currently seeking a student to join our team as an Employee Relations Intern. This opportunity will give you real-world employee relations experience that will provide a competitive edge as you begin your career in HR. You will gain valuable experience in many employee relations functions such as, policy interpretation and administration, performance management and many other functions, while becoming familiar with our organization, policies, processes and innovative corporate culture.

Your Role: Accountable for the administration of company programs such as Corporate new hire orientation, administration of leaves of absences, reviewing exit interviews, contract preparation and administration, with the mentorship of the Manager of Employee Relations;
Accountable for the construction of a variety of employment correspondences such as employment agreements, and confirmation of employment; and
Assist with various projects and Human Resource initiatives within the department such as program and policy reviews and research.

Desired Skills Experience: Candidate is enrolled in or completed a Human Resource Management degree or diploma with a combination of relevant experience;
Candidate is detail oriented, and has the ability to manage a large volume of work efficiently and effectively, with proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills;
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers in a professional manner;
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information, and
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
