Your Role:

• Provide assistance to the Supervisor, Inbound with all receiving functions at the Logistics Centre;
• Coordinate the production flow by ensuring there is adequate employee coverage for all processes, may include coaching, task delegation and follow up;
• Assist the Supervisor during shifts as needed and reports any issues;
• Support team members to solve issues and create a cooperative working environment;
• Ensure all employees are maintaining a safe work environment as per Health and Safety Legislation and Policies by reporting any violations and potential hazards; and
• Ensure all paperwork and appropriate materials are ready to process.


Desired Skills Experience:

• Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain certification is required;
• Experience with standard operating procedures for warehouse operations, and warehouse systems;
• Must be capable of lifting 60 lbs. on a regular basis;
• Previous experience leading and developing others; experience in delegating and task assignment;
• Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to prioritize workloads to efficiently complete accountabilities in order to consistently meet production requirements;
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
• Experience handling employee concerns in a professional and confidential manner;
• Ability to work efficiently in a team or independently;
• Demonstrated customer service skills;
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy; and
• Available to work other shifts and hours for coverage during vacation or illness as required.

Location: Winnipeg Logistics Service Centre, 100 Murray Park Road

Reports To: Supervisor, Inbound Dock Operations
