Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

As the Produce/Meat Sales Representative for The North West Company (NWC), you will secure new orders from existing and new customers. In your role, youre very familiar with the produce/meat, and will be responsible for ensuring orders are placed on time and in conjunction with Crescent Multi Foods (CMF) logistics requirements.

Your Role:

• Work specifically with products associate with the produce and meat industry;
• Assess inventory levels of produce and meat stock and replenish accordingly;
• Contact stores (Northern, NorthMart, and Giant Tiger) for weekly orders;
• Solicit new and existing customers for orders;
• Set sales targets and develop plans to achieve those targets;
• Keep up to date with new trends in the produce and meat industry as they emerge;
• Ensure CMF is competitive in both market price and product assortment; and
• Run monthly sales reports.


Desired Skills Experience:

• Minimum 2 years sales experience background in Fresh Meat, Produce and Food Service;
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
• Proven ability to develop and maintain positive customer relationships;
• Solid organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills;
• Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and assignments;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Must be able to work flexible hours when required;
• Great customer service skills and knowledge of produce and meat; and
• Ability to excel in a team environment while working well independently.
