Location: Road Town, British Virgin Islands

Reports To: Director of Sales Operations

As Retail Store Manager you will be responsible for the overall store management. In your role you will enhance customer satisfaction, lead, train, develop, and manage staff effectively while maximizing sales and driving profit.

Roadtown Wholesale Trading Limited, an established Wholesale and Retail Food business within the British Virgin Islands, now has an excellent opportunity for a Retail Store Manager.

Duties Responsibilities:

• Ensure sales and profit goals are met;
• Manage proper product merchandising and displays;
• Consistently lead, train, coach, and maintain high store standards;
• Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring customer service is efficient and courteous;
• Recruit, interview, and organize staff training; supervise department managers;
• Foster a positive environment for the store team; and,
• Handle Health Safety, and security issues.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in Retail Management or related field;
• Experience working in a fast paced retail environment;
• Must have POS system knowledge and understanding;
• General knowledge of retail product, warehousing and merchandising;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; coupled with excellent leadership skills;
• Works well independently and as part of a team;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Proven ability to problem solve, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and effectively plan ahead;
• Strong analytical skills and financial analysis capabilities;

• Works well independently and as part of a team; and,
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, nights, overnight and public holidays.
