Contract Specialist / Project Coordination
Full Time, FTE:  1
Administration Center
Fairfield, CA (GreenValley)

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing oversight to primary supply, purchased services contracts including administration and compliance activities.  Develops network of matrix relationships with customers, suppliers and leadership to ensure successful cooperation, implementation and management of supply contracts. Provides leadership, product support and analytical assistance for product standardization efforts.  Manages contract data in ERP and other databases as required. Works directly with Value Analysis teams on product conversions and implementation.
Works closely with team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track associated with contractual activities. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of plans.



Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree required
  2. Master’s preferred.

Licensure:

  1. CMRP Certification preferred.

Experience/Skills:

  1. 5 years progressive healthcare strategic sourcing and contracts negotiation.
  2. 10 years strategic sourcing and contracts negotiation preferred.
    Technical
  3. Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) at a moderate to advanced level.
  4. Ability to analyze, interpret and make recommendations based on data.
