Job Summary:

The Revenue Integrity Manager reports to the Senior Director, Revenue Cycle Management. Under limited supervision, the Revenue Integrity Manager is responsible for management of Revenue Integrity for NorthBay Healthcare, including charge master oversight and maintenance as well as pricing and change process. This role demonstrates an understanding and communicating complex changes regarding regulatory compliance and reimbursement. This position focuses on the maximization of collections through the accurate and complete capture of all charges as well as the implementation and maintenance of charge capture processes. This role works closely with clinical departments to align processes with government, payer, and internal charge capture policies; provides education to the clinical departments. The Revenue Integrity Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of Revenue Integrity and charge capture projects including developing work teams, delegating tasks, workflow and training and development of staff. This position analyzes and generates reports to monitor activity and recommend opportunities to increase revenue and reimbursement for the health system



Education:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Healthcare related field or eight years of equivalent, related work experience.

Licensure/Certification:

1.  AAPC or AHIMA Active Certification preferred.

Experience/Skills:
1.  Five (5+) years of revenue cycle leadership experience in a professional/physician and/or hospital environment.
2. Five (5+) years Hospital/HealthCare coding experience preferred.
3. Extensive clinical and/or clinical coding knowledge; nursing experience preferred.
4. Ability to effectively collaborate with physicians and managerial staff at all levels.
5. Ability to manage day to day operations with management of staff and efficient workflow within the Revenue Cycle Department.
6. Ability to review, analyze, and interpret managed care contracts, billing guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Background in managed care contract operations and/or billing compliance highly desired.
7. Demonstrated initiative, follow through and ability to work independently.
8. Demonstrated results-oriented leadership style.
9. Effective project management skills.
10. Excellent interpersonal, judgment and problem solving skills.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
12. Must be able to deal with job-related stress, multiple projects and deadlines.
