Senior Systems Analyst - Clinical (full-time, days, FF)

Job Summary:
This position reports to the Director and is responsible for the overall support and development of the software applications used by the customers of Information Systems.  The applications supported by the incumbent(s) include but are not limited to Cerner solutions for Inpatient, Nursing, Providers, Emergency Department, Surgery/Periop Management, Order Management, Nursing Documentation. The strategy and design for incorporating all of the applications into seamless, integrated data system across the enterprise is the one of foremost responsibilities for this incumbent.  This requires the incumbent to work closely with all users and peers to understand the requirements of all aspects business units and the relationship to information systems.  The incumbent must have a thorough knowledge of the integration needs of an integrated healthcare delivery system, have working experience in the development and/or implementation of data repositories and clinical patient records, and be proven in the project management skills needed to independently manage complex projects.   



Education:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience in IS healthcare field.

Licensure and Certification
None required.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge: 
1. Minimum 5 years experience in hospital and/or ambulatory electronic health record system administration and support with a minimum of two years in a senior level administration role.
2. Cerner experience is preferred, but will consider individuals with EPIC experience.
3. Superb oral and written communication skills. 
4. Proven project management skills related to implementing healthcare systems required.
