Sr Systems Analyst Integration

Full Time, FTE:  1

Job Summary:

This position reports to the Director of Clinical Systems and is responsible for the overall development and support of interfaces between systems as well as business process automation.  The incumbent recommends, designs and develops interfaces and integration processes to support the exchange of data between systems using the Intersystem’s Ensemble interface engine development tools or other tools as required.  The incumbent is responsible for the creation and documentation of technical specifications for any new interfaces developed.  The incumbent must have a thorough knowledge of the integration needs of an integrated healthcare delivery system, have working experience in the development and/or implementation of data repositories and clinical patient records.  The incumbent uses experience to recognize when to escalate problems to the Manager but otherwise uses excellent judgement in dealing with daily issues as they arise.  This position will use programming skills to extract data from systems as needed.


  1. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in IT healthcare field.

Licensure and Certification: 


Experience, Knowledge, and Skills: 

  1.  Minimum 5 years working experience with interface development tools and interface engine software in a Healthcare environment with HL7 transactions. 
  2. Able to read, understand, and implement standards such as HTTP, FHIR, REST/RESTful Web Services, CCDA, and QRDA.  
  3. In depth experience with the HL7 messaging standard required.
  4. Minimum 3 years development and support experience with Intersystem’s Ensemble tools.
  5. Experience with hospital registration, financial and clinical systems helpful.
  6. Requires advanced use of SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, data types, table structures and database design types.
  7. Must have strong problem and issue resolution experience. 
  8. Must be able to work closely with application users, vendors and technical professionals building team environments whenever necessary. 
  9. Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.  Must show strong organizational skills, and project management skills.  Must be able to prioritize multiple projects in a constantly changing environment.
