Location: Bourbonnais, IL, United States  


Other Available Locations: N/A


Incumbents of the Crane Crew Millwright position average $136,000/year


Other Available Locations: $17.43-$22.25/hour plus production bonus



Production positions are paid a base hourly rate along with a production bonus which is calculated based on the amount of quality tons produced and paid weekly.

Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.



Responsibilities of the Crane Crew Millwright include but are not limited to:


• Developing, promoting and executing safe work practices


• Maintain all NSKNK Overhead Crane Equipment
• Successfully complete all required training and development programs
• Support and exceed all housekeeping expectations in the area
• Troubleshooting and repairs to Mechanical, hydraulics, and lubrication systems.  Knowledge of electrical systems.  
• Support Melt Shop, RM1 & RM2 maintenance wherever needed:  This position is responsible for all preventative, routine and breakdown maintenance on all equipment



Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 Year hands-on work experience in industrial Mechanical maintenance and knowledge of electrical equipment.



Preferred Qualifications:

•  Mechanical Certification or Degree    


•  Electrical knowledge
