Basic Job Functions:

Vulcraft Texas has an immediate opening for a qualified Human Resource Supervisor.  This role involves overseeing a wide range of HR activities, including hiring, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, teammate relations, and compliance with employment laws.  The HR Supervisor will work closely with the leadership team, providing advice on policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.  Additional duties include supporting all HR/Payroll functions, such as payroll, onboarding, and teammate support.  The ideal candidate will embody Nucor's values of integrity, work ethic, and personal responsibility, and must maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.  According to Nucor policy, applicants cannot have an immediate relative working at Vulcraft Texas.  

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 


• At least two years of experience in Human Resources, including familiarity with common HR practices and payroll.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with SAP, Success Factors, or similar ERP system


• SHRM Certification


• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations
