Job Description

Oak Hill School is a state approved, private special education school that serves students from 3 through 21 years of age. We are dedicated to our mission and setting the standard in providing innovative educational solutions, program excellence, services and advocacy for our students.


We are currently recruiting for the position of Clinician at Oak Hill School. The Clinician works in Oak Hill’s educational programs.  Individual is responsible for the coordination and implementation of clinical services; assesses the needs of students with disabilities, sets treatment goals, collaborates with families and other professional services providers, and obtains required services in keeping with the Oak Hill mission.

  1.  Determines the clinical needs of students through assessment including:   interviewing, observing and data collection and review of psychological, emotional, and social information; makes on-site visits where appropriate.  Provides consult, integrated and/or direct individual and/or group counseling and educational programming to students to support their educational growth and progress.
  2. Sustains relationship between students/ parents/families/guardians, and addresses any issues, concerns and feelings related to the overall welfare of the student, to ensure that social issues affecting relationships are addressed; acts as liaison between family and support services, consultants and community agencies.
  3. Documents clinical services for assigned caseloads, develops annual social service summaries and program recommendations, completes admissions, transfers, discharge summaries, and provides documentation, as needed.

Job Requirements

Skills/Training/Experience:   Counseling background coupled with three or more years of combined training and experience providing and/or coordinating special services to individuals with disabilities.

Education:  Licensed Clinical Social Worker or BCBA.
