We are recruiting for a Program Manager in Granby, CT. 

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

Supervises, trains, directs, guides and assists direct care staff in all aspect of their duties and responsibilities in the group home to ensure the efficient management of the group home and the proper implementation of programs. 

Maintains staff schedules and completes annual performance evaluation of staff. 

Plans, schedules and conducts staff in-service training. 

Writes and communicates program plans for each program participant. 

Communicates with inter-disciplinary team, staff parents, guardians, DDS and federal representatives regarding program participants. 

Monitors the dispensing of medication by staff and dispenses medication when necessary. 

Makes him/herself available on call to provide information, clarification, and assistance to direct care staff outside of scheduled hours of work, seven days per week. 

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in human services or related field. 5 years working in Behavioral Health field can be considered as an equivalent for this position.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of experience working with people with disabilities in a supervisory role preferred.
