Position Summary

This position is responsible for supervising two Houston based Expediters, and for all expediting functions, as well as administrative functions including:

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Monitoring the ""Past Promised"" report to ensure the expediting process is current.
• Create and maintain customized expediting reports for rig refurbishment and construction projects.
• Investigate vendor non-conformities and document resolution.
• Coordinate vendor audits, and associated documentation.
• Manage Vendor Addition and Change process, including all vendor screening.
• Collaborate with Compliance Department to perform Freight Forwarder approval and re-approval.
• Collaborate with AP to resolve vendor invoicing problems.
• Collaborate with the Treasury Department to financially screen all ""Buyers Guide"" Tier II vendors "

• Must have minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management and strong computer skills.
• High School diploma or 10 years experience in Supply Chain Management required.
• Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
• Must have good PC skills to include all MS Office products.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors.
• Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions. "

Physical Demands

The physical demands must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, carry, push/pull and use repetitive wrist and hand movements. The employee may be required to lift and/or move objects of up to 25 pounds. Hearing, seeing ability of rapid mental coordination. It is required to be mentally alert for entire regular shift.

Work Environment

This position will typically work in a climate controlled building in the corporate office of Parker Drilling.

• Ensure all incidents are reported and appropriately investigated in accordance with Company procedure.
• As needed, seek advice from HSE representative.
